Amsterdam just exceeded expectations. Why? Sure, the stereotypes are there (cafes, red light district, etc.) but there is just so much more than this to Amsterdam. The canals are enhanting and the outdoorsy locals are friendly. Sunny days mean boats loaded with friends, food, and wine are out on the canals adding a cool summer vibe to the city.
