I’ll be honest, clicking reserve for a table at Nobu definitely felt a bit like a ‘tick the box’ exercise. Living in London for a very long time and repeatedly visiting countless cities where Nobu is a dining option, it never really made the top of my list. It’s famous, expensive, overplayed and meanwhile excellent Japanese or fusion food is very much available in the city.
But it was time to try anyways.
I’d be lying if I said Nobu is just average… There’s actually something to be said for the place. The sushi really is fresh and delicious but the most surprising were the mini wagyu sliders. I have no clue what the buns are even made of but those are worth the visit alone!
